Little Maya (6) loves lions. When she saw Houston on the site, she instantly fell in love. Daddy, being a sneaky sort, decided to adopt him in secret and not tell her. When she saw that Houston had been adopted, Maya was disappointed, but hoped that he'd gone to a happy home. Still, she talked about him a lot. You can imagine how excited she was when he arrived today. It was lovely to see. Things haven't been going particularly smoothly of late, so it was really nice to see her so happy. Thanks, LB.
